Farm-to-Fork Dinner at Marchand's at the Vinoy Resort

Last week I had a great dining experience at Marchand's Bar & Grill inside the Vinoy Renaissance Resort in St. Petersburg. A group of local food bloggers were invited to sample their new Farm-to-Fork menu. It's not often that I make the trip over the bridge from Tampa on a weekday evening, but I am so glad I did, as this was a culinary night to remember.  The Farm-to-Fork menu changes weekly and showcases seasonal dishes prepared with fresh ingredients, naturally-raised meats, and fish and produce from local farms.

We gathered in the lobby and were greeted by the Vinoy's food & beverage team. Somehow they had heard a rumor that I like Moscow Mules (a cocktail made with vodka, ginger beer and fresh lime juice)... I was thrilled when they served this one up especially for me, in the signature copper cup. It was the perfect way to start the evening. And then came course after course of the beautiful, farm-fresh cuisine.

I included a few photos below, but you can read my full recap at the other place I write about food,

"Like" the Vinoy on Facebook and follow the Vinoy on Twitter @VinoyRen to keep up with news on Marchands and the resort as a whole. Click here to read my full review of the Farm-to-Fork dinner.
